Tips for Consignors:

If you are getting your clothing or toys ready to consign with us, here are a
few tips to remember...
1) check your items over very carefully in the day time with lots of good light.
Any spot or stain will put an item in the "NO THANK YOU" pile, so don't let those
items take up valuable space in your 2 bag maximum. Zippers should work, and all
buttons intact.
2) toys need to have batteries for us to check they are working properly and for them
to sell well. Parents want to see how it works before they buy it.
3) games must have all parts,pieces and instructions. 1st time parents might not

Consignment Details...
Clothing is consigned by seasons. We begin taking Spring/Summer items in
February & Fall/Winter items usually begin in July. We accept seasonal clothing
on a drop-off basis. Clothing consignment seasons may change without notice
depending on the amount of items brought in each season. We send out emails
prior to each season with details regarding acceptable items and the quantity that
we can accept. To get on our email distribution list, please click "join email" at the
top left corner of this screen. And you can check the home page of this web site
to see these same details.
We accept quality gently used kids clothes and shoes for sizes newborn thru 14
and maternity wear. We accept quality used maternity clothes for sizes extra small
thru extra large only. All items must be newly laundered and in excellent condition.
Kids clothes and shoes must be brought in PAPER BAGS (there's a 2 bag limit per
season) and maternity clothes should be brought in on HANGERS.
All non-clothing items are accepted year round by APPOINTMENT. Call or stop by
the shop to set up an appointment for items including toys, books, DVDs, baby
equipment, cribs & furniture. Prior to calling to set up an appointment, make a list
of the items and their brands. We want to ensure that everyone's items have a
fair opportunity to sell. ITEMS MUST BE CLEANED BEFORE BROUGHT IN TO
CONSIGN. Items must also be complete and include batteries, if needed, to check
working order.
Items are on sale for a 90 day period and the consignor receives 40% of the sold
price. Most items have scheduled markdown periods. Consigned items aren't
always priced on the day you bring them into the shop. We price and put new
items out on the sales floor every day depending on current inventory and space
on clothing racks, toy area, and/or floor space. It is the responsibility of the
consignor to keep track of consignment expiration dates.
You may call at anytime to check your account and receive an update on when
items were priced and/or how much money may be on your account. When
visiting the store, you may request a check or use your account credit for store
purchases at any time. When requesting a check to be mailed, there will be a 50
cent postage and handling charge.
Items with an undetected defect will be marked down early or posted as donated
without notice to the consignor. All unsold expired items become property of
"They Grow So Fast". We donate regularly to many great organizations.
Donation slips are available on request.
All consignor accounts that are inactive for one year after final expiration date will
be considered forfeited by the consignor and profits may be donated to a charity
at the choice of "They Grow So Fast".
"They Grow So Fast" will not and can not be held responsible for damage to
consigned items or loss of money earned due to fire, theft or natural disaster.
All active consignors and intended future consignors at "They Grow So Fast", by
having access to this website, do agree and accept the conditions and contract of
consignment with "They Grow So Fast" as it is written above.
